AWolf With A story: If you feel pukey after eating somewhere its time to quit eating there

Before I get into my rant here, want to say this about the elections and all tonight. I’m not surprised at the results, I had a feeling they were headed this way. The simple pledge I made in the summer of 1976, when the Knytes were just forming was simple. If I stopped driving a truck or was sidelined from toewing for an extended period of time that I would fall back from the podium and allow and support someone that was active in trucking and/or toewing. As such I have kept my promise. I can see some other writing on the wall here, but wont jinx anything by expressing my thoughts here.

So after the meeting with a real meal in my brain went over to Depot Grill. Only got a grilled ham & cheese, with tater tots. First the ham was not cooked, and the tater tots were barley cooked. I was going to say something but ate anyway, real day long hunger does that too you. It’s getting any more that to get a good burger and or anything, it’s a $10.00 bill. But when the bill tops $11.00 and its still yuck, its time to say, naw, coffee at the Depot fine, Friday night buffet there fine, breakfast maybe, but simple lunches ? Only during the week. The weekend cooks just can’t get it. There’s some real, fear coming from both the Reaper as well as the Sheep’s Pen. Both will be known for its food as well as brews.

The problem with the Depot Grill, is that although in years gone by, The Depot, was one of the few places that you could go for something to eat without your stomach two hours later trying to turn itself inside out.

The service was cheerful, food bits and bites were plentiful, prices reasonable, and up to about this year again the food was really good. Over this last year one by one the good service has dwindled to about 3 people. Angie moved to Boise. Another is about to move to Oregon, leaving One that is worth going in there for. Samantha. But even so I’m beginning to look at either IHOP or something else during the day. At night, I eat at home.

Twin Falls Idaho is one of if not the biggest towns plagued with meth and drug abuse. Nearly half of all the people I have interviewed for bar positions have been on probation or parole of some sort for drug charges or charges directly connected to some sort of narcotics thing. The nick name of Twin Falls Idaho these days is nearly direct on target, Tweaker Flatts.

Funny, all my life, I have never used controlled narcotics that are not supposed to be consumed. Likewise never have been arrested for DUI, or even stopped for driving drunk. I just wont do it. I don’t go around poking fun at women. My thoughts are simple unless there’s a ring on her finger put there by me, my equipment is kept behind my zipper. Yet over the years I have been persecuted worse than you can possibly think. More over misread by many including Charlies wife. But hey, as of the last election Saturday night as its now Sunday morning, I don’t have to mess with all that much any more, of course the Pin Up just for aircraft, yes, as well as nose/body art for aircraft, but these babe contests and all, not for me.
