Be careful who you send email to, they might be infected

AHCG HEDDERWOLF WITH A STORY

Be careful who you send or get email from. as they might be infected.

Not saying your bff is biologically infected with some communicable disease , but they just might have a computer virus on their computer that once they click on yours or they reply to you, your computer is now infected.

Oh sure you can download all the free virus, adware, malware and such protection and detecting programs out there. Trouble is even those get baffled and boom, you have a problem.

Many of these malfunctions are like flys. They’re pests. But just like any pest , you want to swat the damn thing and kill it.

In the perfect world there would not be decaying populations, terrorists and others trying to gain control of your mundane computer. Not that you have anything persay that is all that defense or security threatening, but one swipe of their bot and that black bastard in Nigeria, or that over tanned jackass in Syria, or some place has access to other USA domestic computers. Of course you can lock down your computer as tight as a turtles pecker, but these cyber terrorists are out there to topple what they refer to us as infidels. They want to twist our nuts tighter than cinching down ball joints on a 69 Ford truck.

Of course if there is a problem, with a certain site, such as a Google product like Blogger, YouTube etc, try to get a straight answer or even an answer from Google. There is no direct line to Google. Case n Point; somewhere in one of the responses I got from an applicant to one of our CraigsList ads, I snagged a adware virus. I have done every scan and detect program that I know of. No effect. So far its an annoyance. All its doing is blocking some of the ads that Google normally puts up. Has Google, got penny pour to institute third party ads? If so, shouldn’t there be a way to report this to Google for a direct response? I think so. As for me, there’s only one answer, and it means backing up everything on my computer, then reformating my entire disc and hope that I can give the boot to this little pest.

Of course it’s the same with a situation I got from Hotmail. Since the day I started on a PC, I have had that one private email address. Yet Facebook, amongst others allowed some chick, to establish a Facebook account with that email account. There’s all too many important address’s there that I use, so I can’t very well scrub the account, but ever try getting a direct response from Facebook? I have thought many times, of snagging the big byrd and flying down to Silicon valley and getting in the face of both Google, and Facebook, after making a bee line to Redmond Washington and having an up close and personal visit with the folks at Hotmail. That is if I could even get past the security guard. I know there must be a direct line to these outfits for the press and I’m looking into it. Of course there is no reports of this on any of the other local news outfits, TV or newspapers. Maybe they haven't been struck yet.

Thing is if it can happen to me, it’ll happen to you. So when doing emails, even if its not your fault you can snag a virus, even if its someone you know.

Okay then on some unfinished club bizzness.

Remember that Ashley?

Well , talked with club executive President tonight as we went to a movie, and he said, that since she called the fuzz on us, for an obvious civil matter, that I shouldn’t pay her nothing. There is no contract, no duties she performed that can be documented, beyond cleaning the house, and with the below grade of that, make her wait it out. Hey let her take it to court. Small claims at best and it’ll cost her more to even file the damn thing than what she gets out of it. Besides she was on the three week probationary status all none member employees go through.

So that’s what I’m doing. Sorry lady, you bit the paw that’d feed you. You insulted me, insulted the club, in sort you screwed that pooch.

More in The PM.
