Another day another battle over

a new ayrewolves blog header[2]WOLF WITH A STORY

It’s 04:00 hours, as I pull into the Wolf’s Lair to get some very needed sleep.

The past three nights sleep has not came easily. While the structure of things now is both acceptable and needed, still its like a parent with a child.

I was there when the child, in this case the Knytes were conceived , I was one of the founders and saw it be born, given breath, and grow. All the time I have had on the tiller of this great organization, that has grown beyond anything any of ever dreamed. Credit is due though to those members of the Utah for 70% of that growth, yet from Boise to Malad, and from Idaho Falls to Jackpot, the Knytes of Anarchy is respected and honored. As the voice in the north of all Confederate history and of the preservation of southern culture. More over as being the organization that truly wrote all books on what it is to have a successful unstoppable custom big rig truck, Muscle Car, and Harley bike club. Not to mention the only Dukes-of-Hazzard super fan club, in the Mountain West.

Even outside the walls of Idaho, there are people in Nevada, Wyoming and Montana that have heard the warrior cries of the Knytes. However that’s where the respect and honor stops. Try to get hot bodies by a ride, we’re called everything from pervs to a helluva lot more, without any just cause to do so. But when the Twitchell family of Hagerman , had their house catch fire, one Christmas eve, it was the Knytes that raised money quick, got em a house to sleep in for a few weeks until other arrangements could be made, plus got em Christmas gifts. It’s been said by many, once we as bikers and gearheads were hated, now everyone wants to be us.

As the meeting closed Saturday and stewing on the results of the club elections Sunday, I knew things were going to be different now. For as a parent, I have nurtured , taught, cradled ,the club for nearly 30 years. I have held its head as it was sick, and brought it back to health. And with no disrespect to the new officers or members, the new officers are not going to be like me.

So as any parent, I have reached the near end of my parenthood with the club. It’s time now to send the club off into the real world, be there when needed, care for it if its required, but its now time to set the club free.

I can see the structure of the club changing , I can see more restrictions of just who can be pledged, even as a prospect, and then patched. I can see the many out reach projects from hiring people, be limited to those people of club knowledge as well as within the club only. I can see something else.

Up to this point in life and for about 21 years or so, the domestic membership has been free to run sort of free. Now and its already starting, but there’s going to be those club members from every charter from across America, coming home from places most can’t pronounce , coming home from deployments, and they are going to want answers.

Plus major decisions will be made right down to should there even be a sub charter in Twin Falls.

Again that will fall on my shoulders, as the Alpha Wolf(President) of the AyreWolvez, the air wing of the Knytes-of-Anarchy, our air wing is going to be the only measure of loyalty and dedication this damn area has for the club as a whole. It’ll be up to us to really dig in and get the traction for our action for the entire organization out of a deep mud hole that we keep getting stuck in.

Aside from the radio station and network that will get done, the ability to bring to fruition , the warbird pin up calendar and video, the AyreShow, amongst other projects, and topping it off as the fruit at the top of a sundae, the Sheep’s Pen/Wolvez Den bar and restaurant. But its not going to come as long as nobody digs in and is willing to pull up their sleeves. More over, and hey I like fine babes with rides and aircraft like ya’ll do, more over, I love em working in our public places, the bar and café , but when the ability to find those sweet bodies that such a facility as ours demands, then it might be time to examine is this the kind of place that’ll warm up to something like that or might it be better to open such in nearby Bliss, Jerome, or Burley? After all there are people there that really do need jobs there too. Then there are people like our Ashley. One of our little Lambs that could in time be more than just a person to clean the latrine and galley. She could be one that could be an assistant xo, in time if she wants it. There’s a lot of go get it attitude in her. She’s supposed to be here this afternoon around 14:00 Hours or so, but she’s only one person.

As I go to my bunk to catch my sleep, got to roll this out, had a dream earlier in my nap, where I was dreaming of one of the better places I have lived and I mean LIVED in Layton Utah. Was going to go to fix something on a ride or something, and concluded that where I was at in my dream was not where I was in reality. But they say a dream is a wish your heart makes, maybe my heart and soul is saying wake up from this nightmare that is Twin Falls, and Idaho as a whole, and go live the dream my heart is wishing for in Layton. That decision will be made in 20 months or exactly the amount of time it takes me to pay Charlie off for the car he’s looking to sell me.

Until we fly again,

If you think nobody cares if you are alive, try missing a couple of car payments.

Isaiah 43:11-12“I, even I, am the LORD, and apart from me there is no savior. I have revealed and saved and proclaimed— I, and not some foreign god among you. You are my witnesses,” declares the LORD, “that I am God.”
